You're probably here because something isn't working.

Maybe your workflow isn’t triggering. Your open rates dropped and you don’t know why. You’re moving platforms and want to get it right. Or you’ve watched enough tutorials to feel more confused than when you started.
That’s where working with me is different.

Hi, I’m Petra! And there’s a good chance you’ve already read my work. I write the official Flodesk Help Center documentation. The guides that walk you through setting up your first workflow, authenticating your domain, building a lead magnet sequence. Those are mine.

When you work with me, you’re getting answers from the person who literally writes the manual.

What you actually get

Flodesk moves fast. Features ship, the interface updates, and advice that was accurate a year ago sometimes just… isn’t anymore. As the Help Center writer, I document every new feature as it goes live. So when you bring me a question, the answer reflects how Flodesk actually works right now.

It also means you get someone who sees the real questions. As admin of the Flodesk Insiders Facebook community — 20,000+ members — the problems people run into aren’t abstract to me.

  • The workflow that won’t trigger.
  • The deliverability drop after domain authentication.
  • The segment that’s behaving strangely.

These are conversations happening every week, which means when you bring me your problem, it’s very likely one I’ve already seen (and helped solve).

Because this work happens alongside a full-time contractor role with Flodesk, the client list stays deliberately short. That’s not a scarcity tactic. It’s just how quality holds. The people who do work with me get focused, unhurried attention.

How you can work with me

Live 1:1 sessions — 30 or 45 minutes on Zoom. You submit your questions in advance, we screen-share, we solve the actual problem, and you leave with a clear action plan. Good for troubleshooting, strategy, feature learning, and analytics questions.

Migration and setup projects — Moving from Mailchimp, Kit, ActiveCampaign, or MailerLite, or building a new Flodesk account from scratch. Domain authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), warming strategy, templates, workflows, and a training session so you can run it yourself.

Email marketing partnership — A 6-month retainer for established businesses who want strategy, campaigns, deliverability, and design handled properly. One client at a time. Application required.

The person behind all of this

I live in the Hungarian countryside. The place I grew up, left at 14, and eventually found my way back to after years of living elsewhere, most recently eight years in Ireland. People sometimes ask which feels more like home. Honestly, both do. I carry a bit of both with me, and I’ve made peace with that.

Most mornings start before 5am. Not because I’m one of those people. But because I have a beagle named Stella who has decided, with complete certainty, that this is breakfast time. She’s one year old and does not negotiate. Luna and Daisy (the other two) eat their breakfast and go straight back to sleep like sensible creatures. Stella does not. So neither do I, really.

Once everyone’s fed and the early morning indignation has passed, I take my coffee out to the back garden. Watch the neighbourhood wake up. Let the morning do its thing before the day asks anything of me. It’s a small ritual, but it sets everything up right.

I’m an Enneagram Five — the Investigator. People who know the Enneagram will immediately understand why I ended up writing documentation for a living. 😄

Fives observe before they speak. Research before they act. We’d rather understand something completely than say something half-formed. We need quiet to think, solitude to recharge, and we find genuine satisfaction in mastering things. Really mastering them.

It explains a lot, honestly. Why I can spend a whole afternoon going deep on a Flodesk problem and call it a great day. Why I find the 20,000-member community energising. There’s always something new to understand. Why I take time to warm up to people, but once I do, I’m genuinely invested.

I’m not the loudest person in the room. I’m probably the one in the corner, listening, noticing, quietly forming opinions I’ll share when I trust you enough.
Give it time. I’ll get there. 💛
